Site mock
I've really been wanting to give this site some polish for some time now, and at the same time I've been wanting to polish my photoshop skills.
I'm real happy with the way this turned out. I know it may not be everybody's cup of tea so I'm posting it here to see if anyone likes it as much as me, and if it's a viable option for a new site layout. Original Image
Also, this is a mock christian came up with a while ago. I like this as well, but I just prefer a lighter more detailed scheme.

I agree with you. Christians mock looks nice, but it really isn't that functional. I think your design is cool but I don't like the transparency. Perhaps have a full wood background?

Snazzy, it has a nice clean feeling without being too sparse. I somewhat agree with Finch regarding the transperency, perhaps darker header text would help, though I can see full wood working as well.
Re: Chrstian's Mock, it's nice, but it seems -too- sparse, it left me looking for more structure. ~shrug~
